Tahoe Festivals & Special Events

Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival Through August 31 -- Sand Harbor State Park (Nevada) Two of the Bard's most admired plays and an original musical are presented in the utterly scenic setting beside the water near Incline Village, at the northeast corner of Lake Tahoe. A Midsummer Night's Dream and King Richard the Third are running in repertory for the two months. Monday night performances are devoted to the company players production of Cambio, an original musical and a modern-day retelling of The Hunchback of Notre Dame, set in Havana Cuba. Tickets are available at the box office at the Community Center -- 948 Incline Way in Incline Village. or on-line. Tickets can be printed on your computer eliminating a lot of fuss. Ongoing Casino Shows

Yesterday - A Tribute to the Beatles at The Horizon Nightly - except Thursdays - Horizon Casino Resort In the Golden Cabaret Theater. Show time: 8:30 p.m. Tickets: $24.95. "Yesterday" features a live re-enactment of the revolutionary concerts introducing the first wave of British sounds," The British are Coming!!," featuring Yesterday, is a reverential tribute to the best known and most loved pop music group of all time, the Beatles! Show opens Friday, This show features sounds founded in the clubs of Liverpool, England, nurtured in the clubs of Hamburg, Germany and exploded onto the American audience. Yesterday has been performing their critically acclaimed show, "The British are Coming" to sold out audiences most recently at the Tropicana Hotel and Casino, in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Las Vegas, based, and performing since 1986, they are the resident Beatles Show Band for "Legends in Concert."
