Lake Tahoe Area Casinos
South Shore
Casinos | North Shore Casinos
The Tahoe region's main casino action is in
the large hotel-casino operations, just across the Nevada
line from South Lake Tahoe, California. All are located
on Highway 50. Other casinos are located in Incline
Village and Crystal Bay, at the northeast corner of the
lake. The future of both the Horizon and Montbleu is unsure, with ownership changes and financial problems adding to the confusion. However, they are both open and offer good value for lodgings.
